A simple dal that you can find in most Marathi homes.

To me, it’s some of the best comfort food ever.

My recipe uses jaggery or gud and I know its a controversial issue and I’ve spent literal years of my life arguing that with both, friends and lovers. If you don’t like it slightly sweet, I get it, don’t put jaggery in your dal as it is optional, but currently I’m all out of f***s to give about that debate.
